TEMAPERATE:  Having a climate intermediate between tropical and polar, moderate or mild in temperature
OASES: A fertile patch in a desert occurring where the water table approaches or reaches the ground surface
PRECIPITATION: Rain, snow, dew... Formed by condensation of water vapour in the atmosphear
SETTLEMENT: The establishment of a new region, colonization
